Maintenance of High Temperature and High Pressure Winch Dyeing Machine

Objects:

  1. To observe the machine.
  2. To learn about the controlling points.
  3. To know about the mechanism.
  4. Overall maintenance of tank.

Features:

  1. Dyeing of fabric is performed in rope form
  2. The fabric is given the form of endless chain by sewing its two ends.
  3. M:L ratio is 1:20 to 1:40
  4. When speed is 70 r.p.m and fabric moving is 30 to 80 meters/minute
  5. Dyeing will be better in greater speed.

Main parts:

  1. Chemical tank
  2. Winch
  3. J- pot
  4. pressure meter
  5. Temperature meter
  6. Main tank
  7. Observer gate
  8. Steam check valve
  9. Controlling panel
  10. Indicator
  11. Boiler
  12. Water tank

Utilities:

  1. Water
  2. Electricity
  3. Steam

Controlling points:

  1. Temperature can be controlled with the machine is in the range 120ºC-140 ºC
  2. Pressure can be controlled in the machine is about 40lb/inch
  3. Steam pressure should be uniformly controlled
  4. Compressed air flow should be uniform
  5. Motor rpm and hp should be checked regularly
  6. Winch speed should be around rpm of 70
